Virden Farms

Candydust is both our first Dutch Warmblood and our first Dressage horse. She's had a wonderful career and has been quite successful. At her age, she has been through the paces and is practically bomb-proof. She is still quite the protective girl when it comes to younger members of the herd and will gladly get in between a pair of squabbling mares when she gets into Peacemaker mode. She stands very nicely when tied, but she does have the tendency to get out of her stall if it isn't secure. However, like many horses, she has a deep dislike for the veterinarian unless he happens to have cucumber slices with him.
