Virden Farms

Detective Mills is probably the quirkiest of our horses. He is a huge goofball and can be quite problematic on the XC courses. He will stop in order to simply chew on the grass and it's something we still haven't trained him out of. It has cost him a few wins, but he's still performed well in spite of it. He also will not let anyone but Casey Shields ride him. He doesn't buck if someone else tries, but he won't do anything they ask either. In the pasture he's just as quirky as on the course. He's all but attached to Silver Storm's side, and the two rarely ever separate out in the field.
