Virden Farms

Gypsy Spirit is our first and only formerly wild mustang. When she was first brought in she was incredibly aggressive and wary of people, the trouble she caused was what caused her to be rounded up in the first place before she came here. She's settled down in the four years she's been here, but she still has her moment where the wild mustang behaviour shines through. She can be difficult and temperamental, but she's also sure-footed which has made her ideal as a mount in TREC and Endurance. She has the tendency to boss around the other mares in the pasture which has put her at odds with the divas, and we've even had to keep her and one other mare separate. We hope that this will gradually calm as they get older.
