Virden Farms

Satin's Little Princess fell into our laps quite by chance since at the time we'd had no intentions of taking on more horses. Since then she's made quite an impression on the staff at Virden Farms. She definitely what you'd call a giver and eager to please, but seems to be unable to stop herself from cocking her head to the side when she's being ridden most of the time. Unfortunately, she also hates to have her mouth touched which means she needs a gentle hand and she is not fond of our in-house vet at all. In the pasture she is the self-styled protector of any foals or younger herd member sharing the pasture for her, so she can get a little unpredictable if she thinks you're hurting them. She also likes to run away from our handlers in the pasture as well which can make getting a halter on her pretty difficult.
